Davdesign..strange thing with your clock...

Davdesign, I looked through your FAQs and downloaded the fla for you clock. Anyway, I put it into a movie and it works fine except for one thing I only recently noticed...
A few days ago, Windows automatically updated the setting on my clock (clocks went forward an hour), but when I now run a flash movie with the clock in, its still an hour behind.

Any ideas?..

I know how to add an hour, but I thought that Flash got the time off your computer.

Hope its not just me :-(

I noticed this anomoly too when the clocks went forward, but it only lasted a couple of days and now seems to be working fine for me. Are you still having problems?

Anyway, for those who may be interested, someone emailed me a javascript clock and asked if it could be converted to flash. The javascript wasn't copyrighted (and I haven't with my flash version), so use as you wish:

Yeah, I noticed ours in reception has now gone back to normal. I thought someone else had changed it, but obviously not.

Ah well, strange...

Hey Dave,

that's a really neat java clock you converted into flash format. I'd love to incorporate it into one of my projects I'm working on but it seems that the zip file is corrupt? It keeps telling me 1 byte is missing from it? Think you can upload it again? Thanks
