DATEADD in *LIBL type *N not found

I am trying make a datefield which to return seven days ago.
I have tried this:
DateAdd ('dd', -7, now())

But I only get an error message which says:
DATEADD in *LIBL type *N not found

Any insight anyone?

you are using single quotes, you have to use double quotes "d"

DateAdd ("dd", -7, now())
