All,

We have an S8700 with audix and CMS located in the Central Standard time tone. We have installed an S8300 EPN off of the S8700. The S8300 is located in the Eastren time zone.

My question is, does anyone know how you can make the extensions, that are located in the EST zone, have a time stamp in audix of EST? Also, to have the CMS reports, for the PBX routing show EST instead of CST?

Thanks,

Bob

The CMS reports will always show the core PBX time as it has no concept of multiple timezones for one ACD.

So if I have a call that lands in our Boston (est.)office, and then overflows to our Canadian (cst.) office, the time will be reflected in EST. rather than CST? How does this affect overall stats? We will have 2 CMS servers running - ACD 1 in Boston, and ACD 2 in Canada. Will it pull the time from ACD 2 or from the originating PBX (which would be in Boston)?

We are going to be doing % allocation in the cloud.

We have BSR and LAI activated. And this will be used in the event our %'s are off in the cloud.

We currently don't have our Canadian site up yet, but want to make sure I have some answers when the time comes.

Thanks all,
Chris

98Converter as you have two Definitys and two CMSs, each CMS will use the ACD time from there connected Definity so you won't have a problem. However as Subtech has one S8700 pair and one CMS therefore one ACD time

98Converter, Have you looked at the idea of using one CMS with two ACDs on it. My company is currently doing it with 5 ACDs in 3 different time zones with out a problem. When each ACD is define on the CMS you tell it what time zone it is in.

Tolson

Are you only using one PBX on all your ACD's?

As far as the Intuity, I believe that there is a feature to give different remote subscribers, but haven't been able to find it in the paperwork, and don't have a Intuity to play with.

Thanks for the info all. I will make sure the time zones are recognized in the configuration.

Thanks again,
Chris
