I have installed a program on 4 different computers. On one of the computers the date and time functions do not work. It is running Windows98. I let Office2000 repair Access.

The rest of the program seems to be working fine. Any ideas as to what causes this problem.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have checked the references. What reference are you supposed to have to cause built in functions to work?

JimRich

Try looking in VBA editor > Tools > References... Of the checked references are any marked Missing? If so, uncheck the culprit.

In any case, MS has not been able to properly rein-in Date(); use Now() instead.

If the reference is marked "Missing" and the file needed is not on the computer and reinstalling Access does not install it, what would you do?

I am also using "Date" in a couple of date math functions and I get an error message there as well.
DateAdd("ww", 1, Date)I have never tried using NOW() in these functions.

Thanks for the quick responses. This has been stumping me two days.

I'd uncheck it and get rid of it for good.
If program doesn't work any longer, you will have to install the referenced library on the offending computer...
