date in excel spreadsheet 1

I have tried to put a date on a spreadsheet that will update itself every time I open it. I used to do it lotus 123 but do not know how to do it in excel.....

The formula is =now()

tehn set the format to what you like.

 

[Hasit]

Depends on the format of the date you want.

=NOW() gives you date AND time

=TODAY() gives you just the date

=TEXT(TODAY(), "mmmm dd, yyyy&quot gives you January 07, 2002
