I have a mde with a date() function in the default value on a form. I distributed the mde in many computers and in some of them an error occurs #Name and in others works fine (all computers works with access 98 but maybe with diferent Rev.).
The same date() function don´t work at default value on tables and still don´t work in a query included in a function dateadd.
The function now() works fine everywere but i don´t have the original mdb so i can´t change the form control default value.
I think the problem consists in a dll file but im not sure.

I Thanks any help i can´t get.

More than likely you have a missing library reference on the machines that are giving the error.

using the object browser the date functions are part of the vba dll which should be located in

c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\vba\vba332.dll
