I have a line graph that I want to show a time series on. The bottom axis lists dates. The dates say 10/20001, 01/2002, 04/2002, etc.

I want these values to read Oct-01, Jan-02, Apr-02, etc.

The value in my details section which I am charting the graph on is formatted to the MMM-YY format, but it is not passing through to the graph as described above.

Can I achieve this in Crystal 8.0.1.0?

Thank you for any help.

if you have a group with a date field try to custom the group name with this formula:

monthname(month(your_date_field))

Thanks...but the date field is not a grouping, nor can it be used to group.

Anybody else have any ideas?

This has to be possible. Doesn't it?

I just want the dates on my x-axis to show up as Oct-01 instead of 10/2001.

Thank you for any ideas.

Check out the KB article c2005689, you might be able to modified the formula suggested to meet your rqmts.
