Date Field- group into quarter

Hiya All,

I've got data with a date field in it. I have been able to sort this by week and month, but am struggling to group data into quarter.

Any ideas?

When you create a group based on a date field the grouping options include Quarter.

Thanks anyway, but I want to create a formula that will combine results from individual months to give a value for the relevant quarter.

You will have to explain more about what you want to do.
Nothing you have said so far requires anything other than a group total.

the group total would give me the entire year, i want four totals one for each quarter.

If you group by quarter you get quarter totals.
