Date Display

Greetings,

have i table stored the date. The data is not full(meaning that one month got 31 days, but my data might only have 14 days. But when i create the report. i wish to display all 31 days instead of 14. if the data is blank that day then the report display will be blank.

anyone could tell me if the CR8.0 can work that way?

EngJoo,

If you have access to the database (that is, if you are allowed to create tables on the database), you could create a simple table that contains just the dates for every possible day in the relevant range of dates. Then, within CR, you could join that table to your main data table (using an outer join). That should give the result you want.

Crystal doesn't fabricate data, which is what you're asking for.

You might be able to cheat this, but that depends upon how you're displaying data.
