What is the best way to set up date and time synchronization throughout our NT domain, we have a mixture of Win9x and 2000 clients,

Thanks

When your users logon if you have a Login script running then put the following command in each users script:-

net time \\SERVERNAME /set /Y

Server name will be a server that you know has the correct time as it may have a Time Synchroniser attached

The additional line on the script would not work for us (not sure why) so we made a batch file with that line in and put it in the startup directory for all users on all machines (we were doing a new install so I guess we were lucky I suppose to do it our way would be a pain on a site that was already rolled out)

Hey, guys!
Time in Windows NT network is not a service offered by default. You have to install on the server such a time synchronization service (Network Time Protocol). This service is available if you have NT Resource kit.
If you don't have the NT Resouce Kit, then I reccomand you to browse this link, and to choose the solution that is suitable for you:

What you are saying is if he wanted a Time Server setup. I think he just wants his clients to be able to sync with a server and the login script mentioned would work.

Thanks Guy's

I think that the script is just the ticket, - Thanks
