datasheet view of records while entering

Hi, I have a form for entering customer info. As I enter their info (Customer#, Firstname, Lastname, Address, ...) is it possible have a scrolling datasheet view of just(Customer#, Firstname, and Lastname) show up below? Do I use a subform for this with a query?
