Hello everybody,

I'm Looking for a way to have two groups level in a datareport without repeating the group's headers if their value doesn't change. Here is an example of what I want :

Country 1
Author 1
Book Title 1
Book Title 2
Author 2
...

Currently, I get this :

Country 1
Author 1
Book Title 1
Country 1
Author 1
Book Title 2
Country 2
Author 2
...

or - by mixing group queries and child commands - this :

Country 1
Author 1
Book Title 1
Book Title 2
Country 1
Author 2
...

A little better but still not what I'm looking for !!!

What did I miss ?

Thanks for any kind of help, I'm so exhausted !!!

Well, after posting this thread, I made a last try and...yepee, it works now.
The solution was using a command which returns the list of countries, then a child command which returns the list of countries and authors and then, a second child command which returns the list of countries, authors and books.
The relation between the main command and the first child command is based on countries, the second relation is based on countries and authors.

Thanks myself, have a star !!!

excuse me?

I think it's very helpful for someone to make the effort to come back when they have found a solution to their own problem and post it here. And I still think the answer is worth the star!

But, who gave the star?
The same member under another handle I guess, because of that statment.

As a matter of fact I gave it - and no, I don't have a doppelganger

Actually, the last sentence I wrote in my second post was a joke. I spent so much time to solve my problem that I was euphoric.
Then, I was very surprised and proud when I noticed the little star (thanks johnwn)close to my name.
And sorry, as a frog, I didn't understand very well the reply of vbchris, although wondering it was not a very cool one.

Thank you for posting your solution.

Posting the solutions, or identifying what post actually work/helped, is important to making the threads here more valuable, helping others who may be looking for a solution to the same problem.
Not doing so reduces the value of a thread, often to nil.

whew, i thought i had gone nuts... thanks guys...
