datagrid:sort with unbound fields:where to begin?

hi,

I have read some articles on how to sort a datagrid , but only with bound fields. How do I go about sorting with fields that I bind in the itemdatabound event?

Do you know of a good resource I can read up on? so far,
I haven't found what I think I need.

Just set the allowsorting property on the grid... then bind your data.. you will be able to click the column names.. then just handle the sorting event as you normally would
