Datagrid: insert/add new record through code

Hi, does anyone know how to add a new record to a datagrid using the code.

I have populated the datagrid via adodb.recordset and would like user to add a new record by selecting the ADD command button.

Adodc.Recordset.AddNew

At Command1 Click
Adodc1.Recordset.Update

That's what I am doing but I would like to display the data on datagrid with the new row and then update the record. I am trying to use bookmark but gets the invalid bookmark. Any suggestion how to achieve this.
