Database security/performance

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone can point me towards any reference material on the internet that provides comparisons between the various database applications that are available.

I'm interested mainly in performance and security concerns with MS Access, compared with MySQL PostgreSQL, Oracle etc when access via the web (in this particular case, I will be using Perl, or possibly ColdFusion, to develop the application)

Any help will be appreciated.
