database link error

Please can anyone help me. I have set up a database connection. From a drop down list you select a breed then on a results page only the information for that breed will be displayed. It worked for a while then crashed I re published the pages and now it won't work. What happens is on the results page the entire database shows up, it should only give us 2 listing per breed. I tried several different selections, and got different responses on the results page. It looks like the selection language is messed up on what it is looking for on the table.

There really is no language, all the language I did was in the drop down box . I went to the microsoft knowledge based answers and implemented what it told me, which is located at

I did include select distinct in the drop down criteria
