Hi,

Probably a simple question....

I have changed the icons for three multi-user database's (in startup properties), so if a user has all three db's open they know instantly wich database is which in thier task bar.

Each user has a shortcut to these front ends on either the office shotrcut bar or the quickluanch task bar.

My question is can I change the icon of the actual database (on the lan, shortcut bar, etc)? So the users see the custom icon for each db - not the standard MSAccess one?

Thx Honest guv, i didn't do it !

Tools, Startup has application icon......

This is what needs to be set....

The databases already have an application icon...but this is only used when the database is used.

I need to change the icon of the actual file (in he windows environment), so when you open the folder location or have a shortcut the icon shows the same as the application icon.

Create a shortcut from the application icon...right click on the shortcut and choose change icon. Then browse to the file icon, and the shortcut will have the same icon as the database taskbar item.

Not aware of the 'real' way, but this seems to make due.

Hope it helped,
