Hi,

We are experiencing some really strange behaviour from soem of our Crystal XI reports.

When we browse the data in the fields it displays the information we would expect however if you create a formula with that field the result is blank (it's not null as we tested for that). The reports are returning spurious results as well with hundreds of thousands of rows even though there should only be hundreds.

When trying to save the report anywhere we get 3 separate dialog boxes;

Failed to Save Document
Failed to Save information
Databse Connector Error: The specified object was not saved

and the report isn't saved

We are on Crystal XI reporting from an Oracle 10g (10.2.0.3) database on Windows XP machines.

I have noticed when you press Show SQL query in Crystal there are 2 separate queries in there????

Anyone any ideas?

Have you checked your table links in the database expert? Sounds like you might have lost some links somehow.

It looks like we will never know what happened!

I have looked at it this morning and the broken reports are all working fine???

Very strange....
