Hi,
I would like to build an ASP.NET application using Visual Basic.net and using Access as database. Is there any good book out there for this purpose? I really appreciate your advice.

Thanks

You don't have to buy a book - there are lots of valuable resources free and online (such as or the FAQ's on this site).

I bought ADO.NET 2.o step by step (Haven't got to read it yet) and Pro ASP.NET 2.0 in VB 2005. I've read a bunch in the Pro ASP.NET book and really like it. What I have seen in the ADO.NET book looks like it will come in handy when I get to it. Microsoft MSDN website has some good tv shows on basic stuff that I really liked. Other than that, the website above and others and my old goto site, tek-tips. I'm an asp/vbscript guy and am just getting my feet wet with asp.net and VB. Really like it so far.

Shows you exactly how to bring data into an aspx page, display it, update it, add to it and bind to it ... Really basic, but cool if you are just getting started.

I used the link at the bottom that stated:
"If you had difficulty accessing the current episode through our media viewer, you can launch the show directly in your media viewer (however, you will lose the synchronized transcript and chapter selection features)."
