Hi, ok, I know very little about powerbuilder and need to adjust the print margins of a datawindow because of a change in headed paper. The first thing I did was to increase the top margin of the PrintSpecification of the datawindow. This worked and moved the text down, but it seems it move it onto another page (even though all the text fits on one page) as a blank page (with footer) is printed after each page. I was looking at the height parameter of the datawindow but I can only access this from editing the source and I'm not sure it is this. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Thank you

This can be caused if a field size in the datawindow design extends beyond the margins. It does not matter if the text will fit, only that the entire field fits. Sometimes you can find these by turning the background color of all the fields on the datawindow to some other color and then do a print preview.

Thanks for the reply. It was the size of the detail section of the datawindow. I modified the following line in the code
detail(height=2600 color="536870912" ), before the height was 2820 and I suppose this plus the increaed margin size pushed things onto a second page.
