I have on number data type and one text I am trying to link--I know there are solutions using formulas and subreports...but is there a way to tell crystal to ignore data types?

What data source? If you are free to create a View in at least one side of the join, where you case the data type on one side to another data type, you have a solution...

hth,
- Ido

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Thanks Ido--I just got the developer to fix the error in the the data type definitions. But, I will keep that hint tucked in the back of my head!
