Whenever data(in a column) is getting truncated, the rows are not passed on to the target..Has anyone come across this?

Hi,
I have the same problem. My Select statement selects a max()-value. I get the truncation message and no value (NULL) is returned to the transformation stage. Did you find a solution to your problem?

Though there's no round-about solution, we make sure that the target is having a width equal or more than the source.
