Hi,

We're running windows 2003, metaframe xpe, our data store is on a SQL 2000 box outside of the farm but on the same domain.

Can we create another db on a seperate sql server and replicate the citrix db over, this way if the original data store fails, or will we have to run a change farm and then use the db?

If in case our data store goes down, will users still be able to log in? I thought it was 48 hrs but i'm fuzzy on this.

Its 96 hours, and replicating the database ia a good thing to do, you would then just change the DSN on all servers and away you go.

[blue]Arguably the best cat skinner around ! [/blue]

Cheers

...or if you have a large farm...rename the backup server so that it matches the name of the failed server. This way you don't have to modify the DSN on a lot of servers.
