data shows up as #num in field

when ever there is an all numeric field in my form it is showing up as #num but the alphanumeric field shows up just fine we are linking tables in an excel page

The #Num! error value means that the value in the field is too large (either positively or negatively) to be stored in the field, based on the field's DataType or FieldSize property setting.
