In thread767-1097133 lbass helped me out with a formula to retrieve data based on finding a text value in a string. This involved using "" around the text to find, what if the text to find already has "" around it. The formula produces an error. Can you advise?

To clarify a bit, use:

if instr({table.field},'"my way"') > 0 then...

...where the text is in the field is:

I want to do it "my way" if possible.
