What is done:
backup to tape the root_domain usr_domain from 4100
sreated root_domain, usr_domain an DS20E, data restored.

does anybody knows what can i try to eliminate this problem?
Thanks a lot for your advices.

My Tru64 knowledge and skills are slowly 'rusting away' due to lack of use. But it looks like you have restored a working OS, kernel, drivers, etc for an AlphaServer 4100 onto a DS20E. I doubt they are compatible. Those two domains (root & usr) are very hardware dependant. You may have to do a fresh installation on the DS20E.

I hope that helps.

Mike

Hi Mike,
thank you for answer.
I think the same direction... Tight spot... 4100 is an database server (Oracle) -:(
nothing to do
Thanks again
