Data Reports with recordset as datasource

I have a temp. recordset with some fields fetched from the database and one field relative to the database value.

I have set the datasource property of the report as this recordset.
The datfields of the text box controls are set to the field names in the recordset.
But when the report.show is executed run time error 13
"Type mismatch" is displayed and blank screen displayed.

Help me to create a successful datareport.
An early response is expected.

I think the DataReports require a table or query name (or a select statement). If you could create a temporary table in the database and dump your temporary recordset into that table, you could set the DataSource to the name of the temporary table. Be sure to remove any existing records in the temporary table before dumping the new records into the table.
