Data Report in VB does`nt Update.

Data Report in VB does`nt update emediately after data was entered into database.
Only updates after the application is restarted.

Why does`nt it updates immediately after the record was Added or Deleted.

As far as I know it's not supposed to update instanly on it's own. If you really want it to update, you'll probably have to do some manipulation of your own with a timer that requeries for whatever info you're looking for and re-show your data report if something has changed.

Thanks Bdiamond I will try to do it with a timer. I thought it was surpose to update the reort automatically...

I have the same problem as discussed in previous threads.

Can anyone explain to me how to update the data report using a timer?
