For about a week now I have been seeing this error:
"Data Mover could not be brought down gracefully. Please check your hardware."
It is reported by CVD and I have seen it referring to two different media agents so far.
Commvault support recommended chkdsk /f which I did. No bad sectors found. I upgraded everything possible. BIOS, firmwares, etc.. Also, there are no event log msgs that appear alarming.
One thing is backups have really began to suffer. Anything from 100 to 300 jobs waiting on resources each morning. This is very unusual for us.
Another oddity is mag lib has begun to fail. Gets to 25% and just sits there. Never moves any data.
I believe this starting around the time I applied the latest CV patches for 7.0 SP4a.
Any help greatly appreciated.
