Data Module - No Data Module

I am working with a G3R V8 that uses eCAS for its CDR.

The system CDR link has been down for some time but once worked correctly.

The connection is using the data-module, P-DATA and Data-Line boards however there is NOT a physical data module connected. The connection is made from the data-line board to a Z3A2 Avaya Interface Adapter and then to the eCAS.

Status the data-module shows no connected port.

Is there any configuration involved bewteen the TN553 and TN726 in the software? There is a cross-connect between these two boards.

Does the EIA adapter have power? If you 'status cdr' does it show down?

I dont think that the adapter uses power and yes the CDR link does show down.

The data module shows to be in-service/idle and not active.

I have replaced almost every componenet except for the eCAS itself
