Data Mining / Data warehousing / OLAP queries

Can anybody help me to findout the details what is Data Mining / Data warehousing / OLAP. What is its use? If anybody can refer me some site it will be very nice for me.

In SQL Server 2000 one can do the design part od Analysis service. But how the same can be used by the user ?

Data mining is the process of extracting useful information and relationships from immense quantities of data.

To answer the last part of your question, OLAP stands for On-Line Analytical Processing, and generally takes data from a data warehouse (although does not have to) and places it somewhere that can be interrogated.

I don't know a specific web-site that deals with answers on this, but try an internet search.
