For those of you who might be familiar with it, I ran the A2 scan and it found over 200 entries.

I didn't scrutinise them because I thought that perhaps some sites I had visited may have put some malware on my computer. Anyway, I told the program to remove the files, but now my emule program (and all its downloaded files) is missing and I have been told that I will need some 3rd party software to recover the data.

I've never done this before and I was just wondering if anyone could recommend some software - preferably freeware.

Thx.

BTW, I've already tried reinstalling the program but it didn't work - the files are still gone. This seems to be reflected in the amount that hdd has decreased in size too.

Google for the program freeundelete it has saved my bacon a couple of times i had a brain/finger mishap.

yes , many data recovery software can help you.

I suggest you use Data Recovery Wizard to recover.(
You need search the "Incoming" and "Temp" folder under the emule installed folder.
