Data in use for AR / AP dept when trying to enter or rec payments 1

We have recently upgraded to macola 10 from progression. Our version is 10.4

He have a small AR dept of 1 person who inputs the checks we receive daily, and an AP dept of 1 person who writes checks. Every single we get complaints that they are getting data in use when they try to open the Entry screen for cash.

When we get the call for the problem we can look at online monitoring and it shows our SQLAgent has 3000+ locks. We have been trying to find a solution for weeks with no luck. Has any one seen this problem, or possibly have any suggestions?

Document 24.009.156 on the Macola portal references this problem.

While not specifically a 'data in use' message, I have also seen performance problems in Cashflow when tabbing off the statement date field in the cash flow entry screen. This is often caused by records in the BankTransactions table where the Statementnumber field is NULL instead of a 0.
