Data Entry Form Jumps to Last Record

Ok, here's my problem. I have a FE-BE database. The main data entry form is based of a table. The form also contains several subforms. The main table has a unique key number that is entered (not an autonumber). The form is not set to "DataEntry", because users need to be able to scroll through the entire recordset.

The problem is that for some reason (and I can't seem to find a pattern), when enter a new record, while you are entering data, the form will move to the last record in the data set.

Does anyone know of any bugs or what might be causing this.

Thanks in advance!

Here's a guess...

It could be that you don't have your tab order set up correctly and/or the Cycle property of the form is set to "All Records". For example, suppose the 2nd field on the form is actually the last one in the tab order. When the user tabs of the form, the next record will be displayed.

That's a good guess, but not it. Tab order is set correct, and the form is set to cycle through current record.

I do not see a pattern of when the form moves to the last record. It seems to happen at different controls. It also doesn't happen everytime you enter a new record.

Could it have something to do with the subforms?
