Does anyone know where I might be get data (MIB variables for the interface group, TCP, IP, UDP, ICMP) for research purposes. i am trying to use this data for performance analysis of a network. It must have been gathered from a real network that did have some problems at the time the data was being collected.

Thank you.

whasup,

My personal opinion is that if you need to do performance measurements you should make a base from the network you are going to do performance measurements on. Comparing your performance to someone elses network from wich you have no idea what kind of protocols, hardware and what their requirments are of the network is useless imo.

If i get data from a network, i could carry out some baselining.
My aim with the data is simply for data processing to see if the algorithm that i have can identify different classes of problems from the data collected via SNMP. I an interested in the basic dot3 group, the TCP , ICMP, interface and UDP group of variables.

Can anyone help?

I have data collected from some wireless computers, but i need data from a LAN.

Thank you,
