I have a report set up to run that basically shows any accounts > 60 days from list date. The client runs it daily & weekly etc...

She will run this report and use it as a production type tool for example... she may say i want 25% of these resolved by... etc...

The data returned is pretty basic

Acct # Disp Cd Team Initial Balance Collected Current Balance Payor DaysDiff

What she wants to be able to do is a couple of things...

Wants it to highlight anything NEW that HAS NOT appeared on a previous run report. She also wants to reconcile/be able to determine what from the prior report HAS been resolved. Without doing a data snapshot is there a way to accomplish this?

Im sorry not sure how that would work, could you explain a little bit more about this option.

If your report is based on a command or stored procedure you can add code, which will save to a database table the last time the report was used.
You can use this date in the report to detect changes in the status of existing items or to find newly added items. The obvious possible problem is when somebody runs the report and it fails or by any reason the report is not available and you want to run it again. Then you will need manually to update the saved date for the last run.

A simpler approach will be what Charliy is proposing. Adding a separate parameter for date of the last run will allow the user to manually set this date. This might look like a double work and not very accurate but will allow the user to check the progress not just since the last report , but also for the last week , month etc.
