I have never seen this before so I am looking for help. I have a computer lab of 35 WS. 5 consecutive neos are not working. after testing wire the w/wb pair 4 is test bad. We are not using poe switches so that should not matter but still do not work. Any insight would be apprecitated.

For 10 and 100 meg ethernet only two pair are used, but for Gig ethernet, all four pair are used.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

I just checked with customer and they are gig switches. So I assume that is the issue. Thanks, Scott

yes, from what i know for 10 and 100, you only use pins 1,2,3 and 6.
