Is there any difference between enabling Data Aging and setting it to infinite, and not enabling Data Aging at all?
 
That's a good question! Never thought about it that way.

I assume there isn't a difference. I have to look after it to be sure.

I would say that there is no difference - if DA doesn't run, nothing gets aged and if it runs with retention of Infinite, nothing gets aged.

The jobs that meet the aging requirements will go grey on the media but won't actually be deleted with data ageing turned off as aging is the actual process that cleans up.

When set to infinate they will be green.
