Data access statistics?

Here is my problem: I am setting up Windows 2000 Server as a file server in my company and i would like to have statistics about data usage because i dont want to keep data
that are not used.Does anyone know any software that could log when someone access to files and folders so i could know wich data is often used.

ive used something called lanselm along with windows auditing to produce file access reports before.

If the data is being shared, you can run mmc, and add shares. This will show you who's connected to what share, and how many open files there are and how many people are connected to each share. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
