I started working with VBA a few months ago and found one book to help me the most to make the transition into development in VBA- Alison Balter's, Mastering MS Access 2000 Development ISBN: 0672314843 Sam's Publishing [2thumbsup]. She starts from the begining with all the major objects (tables, forms, reports, queries) and works her way up to VBA coding, ADO connections, beginner client/server stuff and SQL server. I take care of that book but I want her newer one for Access 2002.

Now since I have benn working with VBA for a few months and Access 2002 I got this book ("Programming MS Access version 2002" ISBN: 0735641059 MSPress, Hardcover [2thumbsup]) too that is really good and it advances you further in ADO connections, recordsets and other advanced goodies. This one explains everything in detail when it comes to ADO in Access XP. If it's coding you want to do, this is the book that you want cause this author does everything in code.
