Daily back up failure

Hi,

I am new to using Backup Exec version 7.3 which is being used in conjunction with an HP NetServer E 800.

It is set to overwrite media, Copy - Backup files (daily),
compress hardware.

This generally performs the operations requested correctly however occasionally the backup does not write anything to disk even if left for 24 hours. User then has to abort them and then perofrm the back up manually.

If any one has any ideas as to why this is happening it would be much appreciated.

This is the log of a backup which is currently running at 99% completion but will not complete the operation. Has been running for 19 hours when a normal back up takes approxiamately 6 hours. Appears to have started running immediately after the previous back up completed successfully.
