Dailing out

We are having a problem with grabbing dail tone ever three weeks for about 2 mins.. We are not able to dail each other and grabb an outside line.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

any errors on the switch. It's not your t's if you aren't able to call each other internally.
 
sounds like your running out of speech paths, is this during high volume? do you have access to the screen, to see if your getting error codes during these dead zones?

To johnpoole and Nortellian:

We have err messages (elan and aud)from the switch. I have an Option 11 c with CallPilot 1.07. Do we have a problem with our SSC card?

Any options...

usually the scc, you don't have a conf card, the another card, that is common to the entire switch, this being a system wide problem..

We use the MOV command to move phones around. Will this cause these type of problems?
 
not unless your moving acd sets, and if that command causes a problem, it will be corruption, not usually service.. you'll have a set that you can't print out add or change, and it may effect the tn and/or the dn... i always disu sets before the mov.. and it happens at this site 10 times a day..never a problem

We power down the system and had a clean boot up. At this point it look like we have had power issues. The power go out for 30sec. to 1min. and then the power return.
