D160 Bleeps after around 20 seconds of been on a call rang from the Phonebook

Has anyone comes across this before that if you make a call using the Dir on a D160 you cant a very loud bleep in you ear after around 30 seconds. I believe its because it times out and goes back to the main screen while you on a call but if you have used the Phonebook to make the call why does it do this. Tried on multiple handset and does it on all of them.

Please provide version you are running on your control unit and firmware running on your phone. I have never run into this issue so my assumption is a bug in firmware.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Not sure how to check the handset firmware Remotely?
 
According to the 9.0.5 tech bulletin D100 base master should be running 1.1.9 and slave 0.9.6. Is this a stand alone base or is it a slave for another base?

I would suggest upgrading your control unit, even if not just for this issue, as you are 7 service packs behind on 9.0.

*I have not ever had to upgrade the firmware on the phones themselves just the base.

Thanks again yes going to upgrade the V2 over the weekend. Its the master base as I have 2 but they don't overlap . I guess ineed the dock to upgrade the firmware on the phone so may have to order one
