D100 restart issues

I have an IP500 V2 running R8.1 and a D100 with two DECT handsets. All works well until I use a short code to log users onto the SIP handsets as a different user. Once logged on the D100 starts rebooting over and over again. The log file doesn't seem to indicate any errors that I can see (it is on debug level). Logging that user off and returning to the base extension assigned to the SIP DECT phone solves the problem. My assumption is that it must be something in the user programming causing it, but I'm not sure what? Perhaps button programming? Anyone heard of this before?
