czech fonts in Quark 4

hello

I'm trying to use a czech font in Quark 4 but it won't show up in the font menu. It shows in Illustrator but not in Quark - i think i'm going mad.

please help if you can

Had the same problem with russian fonts, think that you have to run an OS extension for Quark. Can't remember what it's called at the moment. If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

If you call AGFA - font section. A chap called Ian Beazley will be able to solve your problem. There is a piece of software for the mac called Cyclone. Its freeware available on Tucows. Use this to convert files from PC etc.

Hi John,

Well I'm not aware of any XTension which could help you insert czech fonts in QuarkXPress but what i can suggest is that you can go for "QuarkXPress Passport Edition 4.1 Supplemental Languages" which supports czech language. You can go in for what they call a Cross Grade (Exchange your copy of QuarkXPress for QuarkXPress Passport) but i'm not sure how much they would charge you for that.
