Now that I've gotten into the SDI Port, here is what's happening when I power up the unit.

It consistently cycles an OS RESTART - here is what keeps cycling.

I've removed all cards except the SSC and it still does it.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I bet Donor system means all the ISMs were transferred to a new PBX. The customer probably went to a CS1000e and got rid of the cabinet style system. We have decommisioned a couple of PBXs that way here.

LOL - well, I'm only out $150 for the Cabinet, Power, 1 SSC card, 5 DLC cards, 1 Univ Tnk Card & 1 Anlg Trnk Card.

So it could have been worse.

Although, I don't learn very quickly so I'm looking for another 'pulled from a working system' SSC card.

Anyone care to talk me out of it?

your original problem looks like corrupt S ware DB, which ive sean 1000's of time with people power cycling them to reset clocking issues. To rectify this you could have done or pressed CNTL "b" when it gave you the promt of CNTL I. when you are in at this level you can run diagnostic test on the S ware DB Unfortunatkey if it doesnt fix it you can wipe the DB clean & re-install the Sware, but as you've mentioned you dont have the Key codes which you would need to complete such an install. To retrieve these in the UK would hae been reletively easy & wouldn't have cost a great amount, although you may have had to tell the odd white lie. The real lesson here is that when buying from ebay if you dont have a copy of the original licensing, you should have at least asked for a SLT print out this would have shown you your keycodes. ;-)

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
