I'm experiencing regular "hiccups" on 3d renders, i.e., the frame rate is great but in every second or so there's a pause between frames, which is very annoying, specially when playing games (I experience this on every 3d game/application I own). I though it might be IDE access coming on the way but double-checked and it wasn't. I have the most recent drivers for everything. Any thoughts?

Usually some application running in the background that causes short "stalls". If not, then keep searching.

Hmmm.. I'll check into it, but I doubt that, since with my old GF4 this didn't happen... no new software installed...
