Hello,

Is there a way to remove the extra Mitel options played after the personal recording in an information mailbox.

Eg: If you have a touch tone phone enter the extension number, etc, etc, for personal directory, etc.

I only want the personal information message to play and not the extra system options added by the voicemail afterwards.

Cheers

MitelSystems.

I don't like the way the Info MB works either. For most of my app's a Menu node mailbox works the way I want it to.

It will play the message, repeat 1 or 2 times before transfering to zero.

Thanks for your reply,

So you say you use a "Menu Node" mailbox and it will play the message 1 or 2 times before ringing zero.

But it still does something else, other than just play a message on a continous loop or play and then cut off.

I guess there is no way to stop the Mitel interacting in with the mailbox in some way or another.

If you want to get cute, you could record as part of your greeting a click and dialtone returned.

LOL :)

Yes that would probably be an easy way out of this.

It is just a shame that a system that can do so much, falls short at the smallest and most simple things, like an option to simply turn this function off.

With a system that is stupid and dumb straight out of the box and has to be told to do almost everything to function, you would expect that for this function, it would need to be turned on if required.

Thanks again.
