CX500 shutdown question

Hi all,
i need to power off a clariion CX500.
My situation is that, one of RadiGroup is in "REBUILDING" state after one more HD has been added to this RG due to more capacity necessity.
Is it possible to shutdown the system while one RG is in rebuilding state without risks for the integrity of the LUNs contained in this RaidGroup??

Hi,

I think that would lock the array and might make it unmanageable till the EMC CE unlocks it.

You do NOT want to shut down the Clariion while it is rebuilding a raid group. I am an ex-EMC Clariion CE. There is no such thing as 'Unlocking' an array.
