CX300 and updates

Hi,

Before migrating to AIX5.2 TL9, I have been asked to :
1) update the CX300 flare (now 02.16.300.5.0.12)
2) update Navisphere 6 to the latest level (now 6.16.0.4)
3) update Powerpath to the latest level (now 4.3)

Where can I get information for latest level and download.
What are the consequences of such operation on the work (any
risk for data, do I need to stop the exploitation ?)

hello if you have no contract with emc it will be hard to download. the consequences are, that during the flare update the load must be quite low on the unit. furhter if you update the flare on the machine you have to have at least the same level of navisphere on the remote computer.

I am in that same position.
We don't have a contract anymore, and my boss says it will cost over $20,000 to get a contract and everything else needed to upgrade our CX300s.
Can you give me some more information on what would need to be done, and maybe a possible pointer to where I can get the software?
